Adult accompaniment – it’s the law
The movie classifications (a.k.a ratings) with the “A” attached to them are often misunderstood by movie-goers. Of the six classification categories in British Columbia, two of them require Adult Accompaniment (14A and 18A).

Why do we have 40,000 adult DVDs in our office?
You may not know that Consumer Protection BC approves adult films and videos in the province of BC. We do this as part of our responsibilities under the Motion Picture Act, which is a law in BC created by government. We perform a variety of activities under this legislation that helps restrict access to adult films and videos by younger audiences.
