Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order and administrative penalty against UCruising Vancouver Travel Ltd., a travel agency in Vancouver for:
- operating without licences at their Richmond and Burnaby locations, contrary to section 143 of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA), an administrative penalty of $5,500.

The business has since applied and been issued licences for both locations. The order requires the business to reimburse Consumer Protection BC for partial costs for the inspections in the amount of $600 within 30 days.
By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
All money received from administrative penalties is deposited into the Consumer Advancement Fund (as required by section 169 of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act).
