Good news for Canadians – the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada has introduced a new financial literacy database packed with resources, events, tools and information from various Canadian organizations.

We took a peek at some of the resources and tools geared towards British Columbians – and there are lots that you may find useful, including mortgage calculators, a guide about travel health insurance, information about deceptive prize giveaways and tips about debt collection rights and responsibilities (yes, the last one is from us!).

For a complete list, here’s a link to the full Canadian Financial Literacy Database, where you can search by organization, name, language, topic, audience, life event, knowledge level and more!
