Stakeholder Engagement Survey Results Print E-mail

{July 5, 2010} VICTORIA, BC - Since Consumer Protection BC was established in 2004, we have led a variety of stakeholder engagement activities to obtain stakeholder input into our business processes. These have included establishing Industry Advisory Groups, holding individual meetings with key stakeholder representatives, participating in industry association meetings and consumer forums, and consulting with businesses.

Given the growing number of diverse responsibilities and diverse stakeholders we recognized the need to evaluate our current stakeholder engagement practices. A review of our stakeholder engagement efforts was conducted in 2009. This review included an online survey of all advisory group members, telephone interviews with some advisory group members, and survey of licensees to establish baseline information on our engagement activities. Other surveys were also conducted with the public to establish baseline awareness and satisfaction measures.

We developed a document to provide a briefing to our industry advisory groups on our stakeholder engagement activities and the results of the review.  We would like to share this document with all of our stakeholders.
